After his residency program, Dr. Van Dam completed a tour in the US Army Medical Corps as Chief of Professional Services in Mannheim Germany. In 1976, Dr. Van Dam returned to the United States and set up private practice in San Clemente. Dr. Van Dam is board certified in internal medicine. his practice, Dr. Van Dam has given his time and expertise to local hospitals serving in many leadership roles for over 30 years. Dr. Van Dam is now pleased to accept HMO insurance plans along with the PPO plans.
