Dr. Terry McMahon is a Professor of Psychiatry and University Distinguished Faculty. He received his medical degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. He completed a residency in general psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio and a fellowship in consultation liaison psychiatry at the University of Vermont. His clinical activities have been focused in the areas of inpatient psychiatry, outpatient psychiatry and consultation liaison psychiatry. He is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, past president of the Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians and Member of the American College of Psychiatrists
