Dr. Kardestuncer received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City and his residency in Orthopedics at the University of Connecticut Health Center. He has completed a Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at Harvard University Medical School at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. He has studied and traveled widely attending universities in Turkey, Italy and China. Dr. Kardestuncer enjoys sports and traveling. He and his wife Gita have two children.
