Dr. Svetlana Meier is a Board Certified Rheumatologist. Born in Resekne, Latvia, she completed medical school at Riga Stradins University in Riga, Latvia. Dr. Meier completed her internship and residency at the University of Wisconsin/Aurora Sinai Medical Center, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Meier completed her fellowship training in Rheumatology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She re-located to Boise, Idaho in June 2011 to join Idaho Arthritis Center. She lives here with her husband and two sons. Dr. Meier was attracted to the quality of life and opportunities for outdoor recreation that the Boise community provides.
