Dr. Surendra Varma is a University Distinguished Professor of Pediatrics at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. He received his Residence and Pediatric Endocrine Fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Children's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. For more than 20 years he has been the Director of Endocrine Division. His research interests are in the areas of Pituitary (including growth hormone), Thyroid and Diabetes Mellitus.
