He is vice-chairman of the BMH Department of Medicine, chairman of the Credentialing Committee and former medical director of the hospital's LifeFit Wellness Services cardiovascular rehabilitation program. Dr. Smalheiser is an avid golfer and enjoys exercise and cardiovascular fitness.
