Dr. Stuart Wunsh is an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and teaches pediatric ophthalmology at its Elmhurst division in Queens. He serves as the Director of Ophthalmology at Saint Marys Hospital in Passaic where he has been president of the medical staff. He is on the staff of The Daughters of Miriam in Clifton. Board Certified in Ophthalmology, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Wunsh is an elected member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. Dr. Wunsh was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. He graduated cum laude from Alfred University receiving his medical Ophthalmologist Clifton | Dr. Stuart E. Wunsh, MDtraining at Cornell University Medical College. He interned at Lenox Hill Hospital. Upon entering the Air Force, Dr. Wunsh spent two years as a Captain in the Medical Corps. He trained in Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital and maintains an academic appointment there. He is married and the proud father of two daughters who balance successful careers with raising families. He has three grandchildren. For relaxation, Dr. Wunsh enjoys scuba diving and underwater photography. He also enjoys playing golf.
