Meet Dr. Peiser Dr. Steven Peiser received his undergraduate degree from New York University in 1967 before going on to receive his doctor of dental surgery degree from Columbia University in 1971. In 1974, Dr. Peiser received his periodontal certificate from Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry, and he spent one year as the only dental intern at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. This experience provided him with insight into the problems and needs of restorative dentists. Dr. Peiser has participated on the teaching staffs of Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry, and the Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. He has been a guest lecturer for Brown University Medical School, as well as for many professional organizations and study groups. Dr. Peiser has over 35 years in his private specialty practice in Providence, Rhode Island, highlighting his expertise in Periodontics, Oral Diagnosis, and Implant Dentistry, with particular emphasis on aesthetics. Dr. Peiser and his wife, Libby, have been married for over 35 years. They are the proud parents of three grown children, a son Matthew, and two daughters, Sari and Amy. Dr.Peiser’s personal interests are photography, reading, guitar, mentoring anyone who wants to learn, and of course, constantly keeping up to date in his field of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.
