Dr. Steve Surratt is a board certified Ophthalmologist in private practice since 1989. Dr. Surratt attended Stephen F. Austin State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in 1979. He earned a Doctor of Medicine Degree from University of Texas Medical School in 1984 and then served a residency in ophthalmology at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. After completing his formal education, Dr. Surratt was an assistant professor of the Texas A & M College of Medicine in Temple and was a staff ophthalmologist at Temples Olin E. Teague Veterans Center from 1988 - 1989.
