After graduating from Princeton University, Dr. Jaffe received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, after which he served for two years as a Major in the United States Army.
Dr. Jaffe moved back across the Hudson River to New Jersey in 1973. He brought with him new and exciting ideas about the field of obstetrics. Along with advocating natural childbirth, Dr. Jaffe was the first OB./GYN in New Jersey to allow husbands to be present for cesarean deliveries. He has also been a major proponent of vaginal birth after cesarean section.
Some of Dr. Jaffe’s patients have been seeing him for decades because they appreciate his commitment to providing the highest level of care. All of his patients can rely on his years of experience and his integrity. While he remains invested in the ideas he brought with him to Englewood Hospital, Dr. Jaffe is still open and receptive to new concepts that come his way. Today, Dr. Jaffe is proud to be an active participant in the Englewood Hospital Bloodless Surgery Program.
