Stan Golin MD is a board-certified Radiation oncologist who completed his residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center of Brooklyn where he served as a chief resident in 2004-05. Prior to his residency he received his medical education and medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine/NY State program at Tel Aviv University, Israel. He is a Cum Laude graduate of New York University majoring in Biology. Dr. Golin is fluent in Russian. Since 2005, after the completion of his specialty training, he has been practicing in community-based cancer centers in Brooklyn, NY and New Jersey where he developed a particular interest and expertise in treatment of genitourinary cancers, specifically prostate, bladder, and GYN cancers. He utilizes the multidisciplinary approach in management of his patients using the most innovative methods of radiotherapy such as image guided IMRT, radioisotopes, brachytherapy, and protective spacers allowing the minimization of side effects while achieving long term cancer control, and in many cases complete cure. On a personal note, he is a happy father of two, and in his spare time he enjoys travel, tennis, and water sports.
