Hello, I am Dr. Srikala Devabhaktuni. I am board certified in general cardiology along with echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT. I joined the Baylor Scott and White health system in 2016 as a cardiovascular physician. I treat patients with variety of heart conditions. I also focus on healthy lifestyle changes and prevention of heart disease.I have been fascinated by the field of cardiology since my years in medical school, where complex anatomy, physiology and pharmacology come together while taking care of patients. Cardiology is a rapidly evolving field and it excites me to be up to date and utilize the innovations with proven benefit.I like to take care of patients by getting to know them well and treating them like my own family. I love to spend time with them to know their concerns in depth, so I could address them in detail and discuss the treatment options. I believe it is extremely important for patient and physicians to work as a team towards achieving common goal of good health.
