Dr. Sidney Curry is a
native of the Florida Panhandle
with a Bachelor of Science Honors
degree from Florida State University. Dr. Curry received
his Doctor of Medicine from Wake Forrest University
School of Medicine in Winston-Salem and did his
internship at the University of North Carolina School of
Medicine with a residency at LSU School of Medicine
and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine (Chief
Resident). Dr. Curry completed a Dermatologic Surgery
Fellowship with the University of Alabama School
of Medicine.
Dr. Curry studied under two of the world’s foremost
authorities, Dr. Charles Balch, on Malignant Melanoma
and pigmented skin lesions and Dr. Gary Monheit,
nationally renowned MOHS and Dermatological surgeon.
Dr. Curry later moved to Atlanta to enter into Private
Practice in the Buckhead area. He eventually merged his
practice with the First Dermatology practice in the state
of Georgia started by the Uncle of golf legend, Robert T.
“Bobby†Jones.
In addition to his Pediatric, Senior Care and General
Dermatology, Dr. Curry has an interest in all aspect of
medicine; including anti-aging, and the importance of
looking in to a patient’s total way of living and lifestyle for
the best care possible.
Dr. Curry has authored multiple articles in Dermatology
journals and is a Fellow of the American Academy of
Dermatology and is Board Certified by the American
Board of Dermatology.
