Brief Intro

Scarlett Boulos, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained pediatric dermatologist with interests in general, pediatric, surgical, and laser dermatology. She is a native Houstonian who is fluent in four languages (English, Spanish, Arabic, and French). Dr. Boulos received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rice University, where she graduated cum laude. She earned her medical doctorate from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Boulos completed her internal medicine internship at University of Massachusetts Medical School and her residency training in dermatology at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. Subsequently, Dr. Boulos completed a pediatric dermatology fellowship at the prestigious Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She gained advanced training and experience in treating complex pediatric cases, vascular lesions, as well as surgical and laser treatment in children. During her training, Dr. Boulos gave multiple academic presentations, authored several peer-reviewed publications, and contributed to a bimonthly column in Infection Diseases in Children called Spot the Rash during her fellowship year. Dr. Boulos is looking forward to serving patients of all ages in the greater Houston community. She has a wide variety of clinical interests, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, infantile hemangiomas, port wine stains, pigmented lesions, and skin cancer. Dr. Boulos lives in Houston with her husband and daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and discovering Houston’s diverse local cuisine.
