Dr. Sarah Grooms is a native of Gainesville, Ga. She received her undergraduate degree from North Georgia College. She received her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 1991. She completed her pediatrics residency at Richland Memorial Hospital in 1994. She was a Fellow in Pediatric Hematology-oncology at the Children's Center fro Cancer and Blood Disorders from 1994 to 1996. She joined Palmetto Pediatrics in 1996 and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Grooms is married to Fred Grooms who is a youth pastor. She enjoys church activities, working with youth groups, reading and gardening. Dr. Grooms is the proud mother of Abigail and Eric.
