Dr. Moretsky holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KUCMB). He is a certified specialist in Ophthalmology: a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology (M.D. Board), and a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology (D.O. Board). Dr. Moretsky is founder and managing partner of Valley Eye Specialists PLC/ dba Moretsky Cassidy Vision Correction.Nationally Dr. Moretsky is past President of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award. He served two terms on the Board of Trustees of KCUMB as Chairman of the Research and Medical Affairs Committee. He is a Fellow of, and served consecutive terms on the Advisory Council of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO). He has been awarded a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for Meritorious Achievement. Dr. Moretsky has authored publications, appearing as journal articles since 1984.Locally, Dr. Moretsky is a past President of the Phoenix Ophthalmologic Society and also served in a leadership position on the Board of Trustees of the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association. Dr. Moretsky received the President’s Award by the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association.
