Dr. Willis is a native South Carolinian. He is a graduate of Clemson University and Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Ga. His internship and residency in internal medicine were done in Denver, Colo., at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, affiliate of the University Of Colorado School of Medicine. He was chosen to be the chief resident in medicine for the year following his training. His specialty fellowship was done at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC and he has been in private practice in Columbia since 1990.
