Samuel K. Wood earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He completed his internship and residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and his fellowship at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. Dr. Wood served in the Air Force at Keesler Medical Center. He is board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine. He is experienced in treating patients with cancer and blood diseases and has a special interest in novel and investigational treatments.
