Sameer Dhalla, MD, MHS, is a board-certified gastroenterologist practicing at The Digestive Disease Center of the Hudson Valley location in Fishkill, New York. He has over eight years of healthcare experience and is dedicated to helping diagnose and treat patients living in and around Dutchess County. Dr. Dhalla completed his undergraduate education at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology with a concentration in neuroscience. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at The Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Dhalla completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center, where he served as chief resident in his final year. He then completed a gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, while simultaneously completing his Master of Health Sciences. Since completing his studies, Dr. Dhalla has served as a physician at Johns Hopkins medical institutions and as an assistant professor at Johns Hopkins University. He has also served as a physician at Hackensack University Medical Center and the Director of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Riverside Medical Group in New Jersey. To stay current with the latest developments in gastroenterology and hepatology, Dr. Dhalla routinely participates in continuing education and the publication of articles in peer-reviewed journals.
