Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:Growing up, my sister and I were raised by a single father. Being the oldest, I became the female role model for my sister and it became apparent early on, that I wanted to be in a field that cared for and inspired other women. That ultimately led me to pursuing a career as an OBGYN. This career offers me the unique ability to care for women in all stages of their life and to be an advocate for women's health. What I want my patients to know about me:I want them to know that I am a patient advocate through and through. I also strive to be a caring and compassionate provider. I am here to listen to them and hopefully build honest and trusting relationships that will lead to improvement in their health and wellness. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:When I am not seeing patients, I love spending time with my family and friends. I try to live an active lifestyle, especially finding activities outdoors, but I do like to indulge in binge-worthy shows when I am winding down from a long day. I also enjoy traveling and exploring new places, especially places to eat!
