Dr. Salim Bhaloo graduated from University of Texas at Austin in 1992, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) degree, a Bachelor of Arts (Biology) degree and a Bachelor of Science (Zoology) degree. He earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center, Fort Worth in 1998. While in medical school, Dr. Bhaloo was involved in student government, was selected Student D.O. of the Year and received the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine Community Service Award. He then served an internship at Mount Clemens General Hospital (MI, 1999). From 1999-2004 he completed an Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery Residency and a General Surgery Residency both at St. John Oakland Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
