Dr. Gassis received his undergraduate degree from The Catholic University of America and his medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington DC. He then completed Internal Medicine Residency training at Emory University in Atlanta. He subsequently completed fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Emory University. Dr. Gassis is board certified by the ABIM in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He has authored and coauthored a number of manuscripts in his field. Dr. Gassis is experienced in the management of cardiac arrhythmia using pharmacologic therapy, catheter ablation and device based arrhythmia management techniques.
