Dr. Ryan Pinnell is a board-certified, fellowship-trained bariatric surgeon. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery and is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Pinnell earned his Bachelor of Science in Physiology, and his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and surgical residency at NYU Lutheran Medical Center in the Department of General Surgery. He went on to complete his fellowship in Bariatric Surgery at Banner Gateway Medical Center. Dr. Pinnell enjoys spending his free time with his wife and three daughters. He loves traveling, woodworking, and everything Arizona sports related.
