Dr. Rupal Thakor has been working in RI for the past 9 years . She completed her medical school from B. J medical college, India in 2007. She completed her residency from Carilion school of medicine - VTC, Roanoke, Virginia in 2012. She worked for an underserved population in rural Pennsylvania, in Uniontown with Centerville clinics for 5 years as a primary care physician after her graduation in 2012. She has been working as a women's primary care physician in RI since 2016.
She is the founder and owner of Plain Street Primary Care clinic. She is currently licensed by RI state and accepting all major insurance. She has currently been certified by the American board of family medicine since 2012 and affiliated with the American academy of family physicians since 2010. Her areas of interest are adolescent and adult health, chronic care condition management, infectious diseases.
