Ross Eto M.D. is an exceptional radiologist. He has been a highly respected member of the
Radiology community for over 20 years. He has completed fellowships in both Neuroradiology
and Pediatric Radiology. Dr. Eto is also skilled in musculoskeletal imaging, body imaging and
is certified in Nuclear Medicine.
Dr. Eto joins our MICSC team from Huntington Memorial Hospital where he was the
Director of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Chairman of the Department of Radiology, and a
fulltime diagnostic and interventional radiologist. Previously to his tenure at Huntington
Memorial he was the Director of MRI and a fullltime diagnostic and interventional radiologist
at Santa Monica Medical Center.
Dr. Eto received his Medical Degree from the University of California- San Francisco School
of Medicine. Dr. Eto completed a residency in internal medicine at Wadsworth Veterans
Administration Hospital- UCLA before going on to complete his radiology residency at the
University of California- Davis and University of Washington, School of Medicine. He
completed a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at Children’s Hospital- Los Angeles and a
fellowship in Neuroradiology at USC County Medical Center.
He has presented at numerous medical conferences where he has given seminars on such
topics as: Interventional Radiology, Cerebral Catheterization Techniques, and Magnetic
Resonance Imaging in Perspective, and New Imaging Techniques: The Best and Most Cost
Effective Uses for MRI, PET, CINE-CAT and SPECT. He has written numerous
publications on such topics as: Double Contrast Arthromyography of Elbow Joint,
Subarachnoid Hemorrhage in Hereditary Telangiectasia, Vertical Fracture of the Sacral Ala:
The Significance of the Anterior Superior Sacral Line, Arterial Embolization of Malignant
Tumor: Report of Two Cases with Angiographic Findings, Effect of Arm Rotation on MR
Imaging of the Rotator Cuff, Inversion – Recovery Sequence Evaluation of Prostate
Carcinoma, Enophlalmos a Sequelae of Sinusitis, “Added Value†of MRS in Neuro MRI, and
Neuromagnetism in Clinical Epilepsy.
Dr. Eto is a fantastic addition to our team because of his experience, his drive to bring
imaging technology to the next level and his ability to relate to patients, doctors, and
employees alike. Dr. Eto is an avid skier and enjoys spending time with his wife Janet and his
two daughters Jamie (23) and Jennie (16).
