Welcome. Thank you for visiting my Web page. BiographyI grew up in the suburbs of Boston and Atlanta but have spent most of my adult life in the Northeast-mainly New York City where I went to medical school and did my residency. Three and a half years ago I came to Los Angeles. I entered medicine in my late 20s after going to graduate school to study American history. I worked as a voting rights consultant with the Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department and came very close to going to law school. But through some volunteer work, I realized that I really liked caring for people more than burying my head in lots of paperwork. I have never regretted making the switch to medicine. I am married and have a son. Most of my nonwork time is spent hanging out with my family. About my practiceI am an obstetrics and gynecology hospitalist, which means I take care of patients in the hospital and do not have an office practice. I enjoy helping to ensure a safe labor experience. In addition, I enjoy the challenge of seeing obstetrics and gynecology patients who come to the hospital with emergencies. How I thriveHiking the Santa Monica Mountains with my family is my favorite way to reduce stress and get some exercise.
