Dr. Ronald O'Gorman attended Rice University where received his Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in biochemistry. He attended Baylor College of Medicine where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He studied general and vascular surgery under the direction of Dr. Michael E. DeBakey and continued his training in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery. Dr. O'Gorman is a diplomate of the American Board of General Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Chest Physicians.
