Brief Intro

After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan, and Alpha Omega Alpha from its Medical School, Roger H. Stewart M.D. completed an internship at UCLA Medical Center, followed by a dermatology residency at the University of Virginia and two years at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. After residency, he served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps as a dermatologist for two years prior to establishing his private practice in East Fort Lauderdale. Thirty-five years later, Skin Center has become one of the largest full service dermatology practices in the area. Dr. Stewart has surgically treated more than 80,000 skin cancers chiefly affecting the face, neck and hands throughout his career. He is also recognized as a pioneer in the field of cosmetic dermatology, employing the latest laser and fat removal technologies and developing special techniques for Botox and injectable fillers that enhance results. Today, Dr. Stewart%u2019s main areas of focus at Skin Center are Mohs surgery and reconstruction and cosmetic dermatology.
