Dr. Bowie earned his undergraduate degree from University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg and earned his medical degree in 1979 from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. In 1983 he completed his residency in Otolaryngology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Bowie is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2003. Dr. Bowie's special medical interests are evaluating and treating patients with general pediatric ear, nose and throat medicine, obstructive sleep apnea and sinus/allergic diseases. He currently practices at Ochsner Health Center - Covington. In his spare time he enjoys playing tennis and fishing.
