Brief Intro

Dr. Pendleton received his medical degree and PHD from the University of Illinois, and completed his ophthalmology residency at Northwestern University. Dr. Pendleton is now performing laser-assisted cataract surgery using the LensAR femtosecond-laser. Femtosecond laser is the latest technology in cataract surgery; it creates incisions with increased precision, reduces the amount of ultrasound energy needed for cataract removal, and it can reduce or eliminate small amounts of astigmatism. Dr. Pendleton specializes in No Stitch, No Patch, No Injection Cataract Surgery and Refractive Lens Exchange Surgery, and if you are a candidate for the latest multifocal, toric, or accommodative lens implants, you just might find that you have little or no need for glasses after surgery.
