Dr. Robert A. Arnold DDS
A native of northeastern South Dakota and a graduate of Hazel High School, Dr. Robert attended Evangel College in Springfield, MO and the University of Minnesota. He received his Bachelor of Science with high distinction in 1964 and Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1966. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental society in 1966 and the International College of Dentists in 2004. In 1968, he completed his two-year residency in orthodontics to obtain his Master of Science in Dentistry degree.
From 1968 to 1970, he served as one of two orthodontists at the Ft. Leonardwood, MO U.S. Army Hospital and earned the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army. Since 1970, he has practiced in Watertown, SD. Currently, Arnold Orthodontics has a satellite office in Brookings, SD.

Member of the South Dakota Dental Association and active in its leadership, serving as President of the SDDA in 2003-2004, as well as in local leadership in the Northern District of the SDDA

Past Member of the SDDA Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors of Delta Dental of South Dakota
Member and Past Officer of the SD Society of Orthodontics
Past Board Member for Lake Area Technical Institute Dental Assisting Advisory Board
Dr. Robert also has a high commitment to community involvement. He is actively involved in church and has served as a church council member and an elder, is a member of the Watertown Rotary Club and is an avid hunter and fisherman. Dr. Robert has also served as a dental missionary to the Darien Jungle in Panama, and at an orphanage in Juarez, Mexico. He and his wife, Judy, enjoy spending time with their children and many grandchildren.
