Brief Intro

Dr. DeMera is board-certified in internal medicine and allergy/immunology. Born and raised in Fresno, Dr. DeMera understands the unique problems faced by allergy and asthma sufferers in the Valley. Dr. DeMera attended San Joaquin Memorial High School in Fresno and California State University, Fresno. He attended medical school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his internal medicine residency at St. Mary%u2019s Medical Center in San Francisco and his allergy/immunology fellowship at the University of California, Davis. After completing his medical training, Dr. DeMera moved back to the Fresno in 2001, working for Central California Ear, Nose and Throat Medical Group. While there, he founded and operated Central California Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology before starting DeMera Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Center in September 2007. Dr. DeMera believes in practicing individualized care focused on the patient. He works exclusively with every patient, taking the time necessary to develop a personalized diagnostic and treatment plan. Dr. DeMera and his wife Elizabeth have four children. He enjoys coaching his children%u2019s soccer and little league teams and spending time outdoors with his family.
