Dr. Learn was born in San Diego and graduated from both Sweetwater High School and San Diego State University. Dr. Learn attended the UCLA School of Medicine and was one of the first residents at the Jules Stein Eye Institute in Westwood. Dr. Learn joined the Eye Physicians Medical group in 1967 and as our senior Ophthalmologist he is one of the most respected Ophthalmologists in San Diego County. Dr. Learn is currently semi-retired and works two days per week. In his leisure time Dr. Learn enjoys fly fishing, gardening and travel.
