Richard M. Loochtan, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Richard M. Loochtan received a Bachelor's degree with honors
from the University of Illinois in Urbana, Illinois. His dental
education began at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry
in Chicago. After graduation, he completed a general practice dental
residency at the Oklahoma Children's Hospital. A two-year pediatric
dental residency at the Children's Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio,
followed. After two more years of study at the University of
Detroit, he earned a certificate in orthodontics and a Master of
Science degree. He practiced in Colorado for several years before
moving to Ohio in 1991. Dr. Loochtan is board certified and is a
fellow of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has been a
member of the staff at Nationwide Children's Hospital since 1991.
Affiliations include: American Dental Association, Ohio Dental
Association, Hocking Valley Dental Society and American Academy of
Pediatric Dentistry. When not at work, Dr. Loochtan and his wife
enjoy being the parents of three sons and two dogs, sporting events
and outdoor activities.
