Richard J. D?Agostino, M.D., is the Chief of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at St. Francis Hospital and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. He is also an Attending Physician at North Shore University Hospital and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. D?Agostino?s specialty interests include arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder, elbow, ankle and hip. He is a lecturer and instructor in innovative knee and shoulder procedures, including work at the Orthopedic Learning Center in Chicago. He is involved in the development of articular cartilage repair procedures and has worked with collegiate, professional and Olympic athletes. Dr. D?Agostino is also the team physician and orthopedic surgeon for the Long Island Lizards professional lacrosse team and for all sports at Nassau Community College.
