Dr. Richard Wilson received his B.S. and M.D. degrees from Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma University, respectively. He completed a general surgical residency in Birmingham, Alabama in 1981 and plastic surgery residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City in 1983.He has been in private practice in Columbus, Georgia since 1983 and earned his board certification in plastic surgery in 1987. Dr. Wilson is a member of the Southeastern Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and ASAPS (American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He is on the staff of St. Francis Hospital and Doctors' Hospital. He enjoys practicing the entire scope of plastic and reconstructive surgery, but his practice has been more focused on aesthetic surgery over the past several years.
