Dr. Lewis earned his medical degree in 1978 at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland and completed his residency at University of Virginia School of Medicine, Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. Lewis went on to complete a Fellowship in Cardiology at University of Virginia School of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Lewis is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Medical Association, and is a past President of the Fredericksburg Area Medical Society. He serves as Medical Director of Disease Management at Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg, Virginia.
