Dr. Reynold L. Rimoldi received his doctor of Medicine Degree with honors at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1984. his Orthopedic Surgical Residency was completed at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas from 1985-1989. Dr. Rimoldi completed a Fellowship in Spine Surgery at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in Downey, California. He then completed a second Fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Hughston Clinic for Sports Medicine in Columbus, Georgia.
Dr. Rimoldi is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Board of Spine Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, and the American College of Spine Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians, North American Spine Society, Hughston Sports Medicine Society, Singleton Surgical Society, and Eggers Society.
Dr. Rimoldi has numerous publications relating to the areas of sports medicine, spine surgery, and spinal cord injury, including multiple chapters in learning text for physicians in training, as well as, articles in peer reviewed journals on spine injuries in athletes.
Dr. Rimoldi is certified in the field of disc replacement and spinal fusions. He is accomplished in performing ligamentous repairs and cartilage of the knee and shoulder utilizing arthroscopic techniques.
Dr. Rimoldi has been a valued member of Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center since March of 1995.
