Brief Intro

Dr. Moore is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician at Southwest Medical Group. Dr. Moore has been practicing for 40 years in many different healthcare capacities. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from CU Denver and her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Moore completed her internship at the University of Iowa Hospital and her residency at UCLA Health. Upon completing her residency program, she began working at a private practice in Monument, CO. Dr. Moore wanted a change so she began practicing in rural medicine as a hospitalist for many years. When the opportunity opened up to come to Cortez, Dr. Moore took it. Dr. Moore was born and raised in Iowa and moved to Colorado in her early 20s and has been in the state since then. Dr. Moore loves to quilt, golf and be with her two dogs Bear and Iris. She understands how hard it is for patients to open up and visit the doctor. She wants to take that burden off her patients by being kind and listing to them. She wants to the better part of their day by helping them feel better.
