Brief Intro

Dr. Patel received his master’s degree in public health and went on to get his medical degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency and fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at SUNY at Buffalo at the Women and Children´s Hospital of Buffalo. Dr. Patel is board certified in Pediatrics and he is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah and is in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Primary Children´s Medical Center. His interests include inflammatory bowel disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, nutritional rehabilitation, non-transplant hepatology and quality improvement. Dr. Patel sees clinic patients at Primary Children’s Medical Center and the Primary Children’s Medical Center Riverton Extension.
