Raymond A. Skinner, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Skinner has been an accomplished periodontist since 1973 and has been placing dental implants since 1989.
He began his educational dental career in 1969, attending the renowned University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Due to academic excellence, he was placed on the Dean’s List for every year and honored with the Undergraduate Award in Periodontics. In 1975, he received both a Master of Science in Oral Biology and a Certification in Periodontology from the prestigious Loyola University Dental School. Since periodontal certification, Dr. Skinner has remained dedicated to furthering his dental education -- taking over 30 hours of continuing education each year.
He is a published researcher and has advanced clinical training in dental implantology, bone regeneration, oral plastic surgery and microsurgery. He has studied abroad at the Branemark Institute, one of the original founders of modern day dental implant technology. He has also attended the esteemed Pankey Institute in Florida.
His qualifications extend beyond his experience and training to include ongoing participation in his professional community. During his dental and periodontal training, he was a member of the national honorary dental society, Omicron Kappa Epsilon, and currently belongs to the following local and national associations:
