Ramon Castellanos, MD, graduated in Cuba in 1987, with the tile of Doctor in Medicine offered by the University of Havana. He worked as an orthopedic surgeon and dorsal spine until 1993. After completing all the courses and requirements for the exams of medical licenses in the United States, he was selected in 1997 to complete a year of surgery in the New York Hospital in Queens. He finalized his primary specialty and obtained the Certificate of the Meeting in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the hospital of the University of Nassau in Stony Brook, New York. In 2001, he entered the program of scholarships of the Interventional Pain Management through his specialty in the Florida Spine Institute.
