Dr. Asija completed her medical degree from RNT Medical School, Udaipur, Rajasthan in India. She graduated from the Family Medicine residency program at Aurora Sinai Medical Center, in Milwaukee, WI. She has a strong background in urgent care medicine and has received additional certification in wound care. She has been in practice for over 15 years. Dr. Asija is a member of the American Association of Family Practice.
Dr. Asija swiftly embraced the core tenets of family medicine including comprehensive care and preventative medicine. She believes in the power of strong doctor-patient relationships, the kind that spans years and generations and aspires to ensure every patient feels understood and cared for. In all aspects of life, Dr. Asija embodies the true essence of a family physician: skilled, compassionate, and endlessly dedicated to the well-being of the community. Dr Asija will be heading the wound care and hyperbaric department at Saak health. Dr. Asija believes that many of our patients need additional care related to the wound, and our program offers a multidisciplinary approach to meet these challenges. Determining whether a patient is best served by a drug, a biologic, a device, or surgery can be a complex process and our wound care center will provide full spectrum of care.
