Prasad Kannaeganti was born in India. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, AP, India. Dr. Kannaeganti completed his residency in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College (Metropolitan) Program in New York. Prior to completing his nephrology fellowship at the University of New Mexico at Albuquerque, Dr. Kannaeganti worked in internal medicine for five years in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He joined North Texas Kidney Disease Associates in 2011. Dr. Kannaeganti is married with one child and in his free time he enjoys hiking.
