Brief Intro

I was born in Ohio, but moved with my family to San Diego when I was eight years old. My father was an engineer, and encouraged my interest in science and medicine. I attended UC San Diego as a biology major, and UC Irvine Medical School. I chose ophthalmology as a specialty because I enjoyed using the advanced technology of microsurgery to help restore eyesight.
