Fayette Regional Health System and NeuroCenter welcome Neurologist Petronio Ilagan, M.D. to its medical staff. Board Certified, Dr. Ilagan brings a high level of expertise to the Whitewater Valley Region. Dr. Ilagan has a special interest in neuromuscular diseases and is a member of many medical associations including: Indiana State Medical Association, American Academy of Neurology, American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the American Medical EEG Association. He is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. After serving as resident at the same university, Dr. Ilagan also served as resident in both Kentucky and Illinois. He went on to complete his senior residency at Loyola University Medical Center and the Veterans Administration Hospital in Illinois. Dr. Ilagan has deep roots in Indiana after practicing more than 23 years in Terre Haute. Because of these "Hoosier" ties, he is pleased to be able to serve the needs of those in Fayette County and the surrounding areas. He now sees patients in his outpatient practice, NeuroCenter, located in the main hospital, as well as assuming the role of Medical Director for the FRHS Acute Rehabilitation Center.
