Practicing medicine in Georgia for over 20 years, Dr. Peter Wrobel is a skilled physician experienced in diagnosing and treating vein disorders. He is the Medical Director of both Vein Specialists of South Georgia in Waycross, GA, and North Georgia Vein & Wellness in Cumming, GA, north of Atlanta.A member of the American College of Phlebology, Dr. Wrobel has extensive experience treating vein disorders having performed over 8000 vein procedures. As part of his Phlebology studies, he trained under nationally recognized vein care specialists.Dr. Wrobel has obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Medicine, and undergraduate degrees in Physiology and French, also from the University of Saskatchewan, in Saskatoon, Canada. He interned and completed his residency at Plains Health Centre, an affiliate of the University of Saskatchewan.He began his career in Waycross, GA in 1995. Since then, he taught through the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine; and was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine for Okefenokee Residency program in Waycross. In addition, Dr. Wrobel has a special interest in treating patients with venous insufficiency at both locations. He is Board Certified and is a member of the American College of Phlebology.Dr. Wrobel resides in Milton, Georgia with his wife and six children. He is an active member of his church and enjoys going on mission trips around the world to help others with medical needs.
