Peter Parten, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon at Summit Orthopedics specializing in the surgical and nonsurgical care of the shoulder, with a special interest in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery. He serves Minneapolis St. Paul metro area patients and is a frequent recipient of the Top Doctor designation in Mpls.St.Paul Magazine. He completed his shoulder arthroscopy fellowship at the Institute of Orthopedic Research in San Antonio, Texas. “I think that probably the thing that gives me the most satisfaction is when somebody has something that’s been difficult to diagnose, or they’ve been struggling with for a long time,” he says, “and we can actually figure out what is wrong and what can make them better.”
