Brief Intro

Dr. Carroll is a very experienced physician, with over 50 years in private practice. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Medicine in 1956. Afterwards, Dr. Carroll completed his internship at Mid-State Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Carroll has held several leadership positions during his career. He served in the Air Force, where he attained the rank of Captain. He was appointed to serve on several boards, including the Union County Chapter of the American Red Cross and the South Arkansas Developmental Center for Children and Families. Dr. Carroll was selected to serve as the Director for the UAMS AHEC South Arkansas in El Dorado for nine years, from 1989 through 1998. In recognition of his experience, dedication and leadership, UAMS dedicated "The Carroll Medical Library" at the AHEC South Arkansas.
