The Orthopaedic Center for Children at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is now in its twentieth year of existence. Throughout this time, it has been an honor and pleasure for the faculty and staff of the center to provide the highest level of care to children and adolescent from all levels of society. All are treated with the same levels of care and respect. In addition to attending to musculoskeletal problems and conditions, it has been our goal to nurture each individual and foster their development. The practice of pediatric orthopaedics is truly a discipline that addresses all facets of concern, from acute trauma to syndromic conditions and severe neuromuscular disorders. In this environment, we have also involved ourselves in the general health and education of our patients and their families in the hope that permanent improvements can be structured for our patients and for future generations.
